Prescriptions

All prescriptions are private and a charge for this will be payable at the pharmacy. Upon receiving your prescription you should take it to a community pharmacy of your choice. The pharmacy will be able to provide guidance on payment.

  • I am not able to see any patients registered at my NHS surgery (Meddygfa Canna Surgery, Canton, Cardiff)

  • Controlled drugs eg. morphine, diazepam or stimulants

  • Sick notes

  • Smear tests

  • Contraceptive coils

  • Minor surgery

  • Pregnancy related problems

  • Vaccinations

  • Ear syringing

This is not an emergency service. Please call 111 or 999 as appropriate for emergency medical needs.

Initial consultation.    £85    20 minutes

During your initial appointment we will discuss your health concerns and decide on the best way to proceed. I take a personalised approach to help and guide you to make the right choices for you.

Follow up appointment.  £65  10 minutes

Continuity of care is an important part of comprehensive care. I understand that every patient is unique, with their own set of health concerns and needs. That's why I work closely with you to develop a personalised follow-up plan that meets your specific requirements and ensures that your long-term health is always a top priority.

Tests and investigations

After an initial appointment, if required, I will refer to the Nuffield team for tests and investigation (Charges payable to Nuffield).

Once the results are in, I personally review them.

You will then be contacted to book either a telephone or face to face appointment to discuss the next steps for your healthcare.

Telephone consultations. £30. 10 minutes. 

Face to Face follow up.  £65. 10 minutes.

Joint injections £150 (includes initial consultation fee)

Injuries and joint problems have a huge impact on our lives. Rest and physiotherapy are the first-line treatments but sometimes a steroid (also known as a cortisone) injection is needed to reduce inflammation, pain and swelling. I am experienced at administering steroid injections into various joints. Please contact me for more information on this.
